Men’s Health magazine (US edition) has named Oscar Pistorius as number 47 in ‘The Fittest Men of All Time’ list alongside the likes of actor Daniel Craig, Usain Bolt (track and field) and Michael Jordan (basketball).
The publication defines ‘fitness’ as not just being how much you can lift, how fast you can sprint, or how many records you’ve broken – it’s also about what else you do with the body you build – the people you inspire, and the legacy you leave behind.
This commendation is a result of Oscar’s inspiring achievements throughout the summer competing in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London which has seen him gain recognition worldwide – a feat emphasised by recent appearances on ‘Tonight with Jay Leno’ and ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ shows in the States.
Oscar’s recent golf buddy Michael Phelps tops the impressive list of names from past and present which reads like a hall of fame of the best sports people and celebrities from across the globe.
